New ways of selling

As installers adapt to changes in how to sell to homeowners in light of the global pandemic and the ensuing lockdown, software packages from Windowlink are providing a lifeline, the company has reported.

“We understand how difficult it can be for installers in these unprecedented times,” Mark Dudley, managing director at Windowlink, said. “The software packages that we’ve developed are ideal to provide the platform for safe selling and the fact that more and more installers are signing up every day is testament to how popular they are proving.

“Our window and door design and quoting software, Focus, makes the whole process easier, quicker and helps to manage the sale from quote to contract to survey. It incorporates virtually any style, configuration and product for windows and doors, complete with the right finish and hardware. Designs are then presented as impressive visuals with quotes, contracts and survey reports which can be shown to customers on screen or printed out.”

Windows-based Vector allows users to superimpose conservatory and extension plans onto real photographs, creating 3D images.

“We’ve also taken this one step further by introducing our 4Site Imaging Bureau so that we can extract the 3D data file from Vector and convert the image into a photo realistic, high-resolution 4D video,” Mark said.
