New toughened laminate glass offer

Ravensby Glass recently invested in Pujol 100 50×28 laminator to add toughened laminate glass to its range.

Its structural glass is toughened in accordance with BS EN 14449 with options including clear, tinted or coloured glass. The range also includes a low iron glass option offering a noticeably clearer float glass supplied to the balustrade and fenestration markets.

“The increased commercial market demand for laminated glass products, particularly toughened and heat strengthened, was a key motivator in the installation of the new machinery to ensure we meet our customers’ future product requirements,” Scott Duncan, Ravensby’s commercial director, said.

The laminated glass uses PVB and EVA interlayers to offer high level safety and barrier loading requirements.
