New partnership

Yale Door and Window Solutions has partnered with Anglian Home Improvements to offer the new Conexis L1 Smart Door Lock, a new keyless door entry device.

Anglian is the first home improvements company to introduce the smart lock into its product portfolio. This is a direct response to an increase in consumer demand for connected home security products and signals the start of an industry-wide trend investing in the future of door furniture, it was reported.

The Conexis L1 Smart Door Lock can be unlocked using a smartphone, key tag, key card or phone tag, depending on preference and can be fitted onto any of Anglian’s PVCU or composite doors with a thickness of 44mm-70mm.

In addition to a tamper alarm, the Conexis L1 is PAS24 accredited and features a secure push and turn thumbturn for additional convenience and added security. The Conexis L1 Smart Door Lock also carries Yale’s security guarantee.

David Pridmore, key account manager for Yale Door and Window Solutions, said: “We have been working with Anglian for over two years and thanks to a shared vision for providing homeowners with innovative and secure products, have developed a great working relationship.

“The introduction of the Conexis L1 Smart Door Lock into Anglian’s product portfolio only helps to further reinforce our successful partnership.

More people are beginning to understand the real value that smart home technology can provide in their everyday lives and the Conexis L1 will help Anglian to make smart living a reality for UK homeowners.”

Mark Farmer-Wright, product development manager at Anglian Home Improvements, said: “There is no longer any need to leave a door key under a mat, to worry about missing keys or the expense of replacing them, or to spend time trying to find keys when you have got your hands full.”
