New offering

Elumatec is set to unveil its latest offering at the BAU show in Munich, Germany, from January 15 to 21.

In addition to showcasing an extensive array of its existing products, Elumatec will also be launching the SBZ 122/75 – the newest and most advanced model in its market-leading SBZ range of CNC machining centres.

The first five-axis CNC in the SBZ 122 line, the 122/75 is safer, faster and more flexible than the products that came before it, the company claimed. Its protective hood not only shields users, it saves space by allowing them to work right up close to the machine even when it’s in operation.

Its inclined beds give users easier access, and means swarf and other waste material falls way – and its autonomous clamps save time, manpower, and boost efficiency.

“We couldn’t hope for a better place to launch the 122/75 than BAU 2017,” Phil Heavey, Elumatec UK’s managing director, said.
