Network boosted with machinery package

The Bifold Network has invested in software and machinery products from Elumatec.

MD Allan Ensor, said: “When you’ve spent 20 painstaking years building a reputation for quality and excellence, you become very choosy about who you will and won’t buy machinery from. We’ve got a reputation to protect, and that means we’re not willing to settle for anything less than the best.

“That’s why we contacted Elumatec. It’s not just that their machinery products are outstanding quality, offering decades of efficient, reliable service – it’s that they come backed with fantastic support too – and together, that equals a package no other manufacturer can match.”

The company has already owned an SBZ 122/33 since 2014, but that’s now been joined by an SBZ 122/71 CNC, along with a DG104 mitre saw, and an EP124 corner crimping machine.

The DG104 mitre saw is capable of processing high and wide profiles thanks to its universal pivoting and tilting functionality.

The EP124 corner crimping machine can press profiles with large dimensions and is easy to adjust and operate.

Finally, the SBZ 122/71 CNC keeps profile bars stationary to protect their surfaces while precision routing, drilling, tapping and other operations take place thanks to a versatile spindle complete with a rotating gearbox.

The Bifold Network also subscribes to eluCad – the machine-programming software from Elusoft, Elumatec’s software development arm.

Neil Parton, Elumatec’s sales director, said: “It’s hugely satisfying when an exceptional fabricator like The Bifold Network sees the value in taking a whole range of different Elumatec products. A factory full of Elumatec machines, backed up with eluCad, is a sure-fire way of ensuring your operation is running as smoothly and productively as possible.”
