Matte black finish slides into focus
The CRL Compact-X sliding door system is now available with a matte black frame, combining form with function to offer a practical, straightforward to install solution for all situations, the company said.
The system is designed for creating a flexible division between two areas of a large residential or commercial open-plan space, or in a shower environment. It is suitable for wall, ceiling, glass mounted and dropped ceiling applications.
It can accommodate glass between 8mm and 10.76mm thickness, narrow doors with a width from 675mm, and a weight of up to 70kg. With the addition of an extra set of clamps, it can also be used to install bi-parting doors.
Available in various lengths and with a vertical adjustment of +/-3 mm for accurate alignment, the system features an enhanced double ‘soft-close’ which allows the sliding door to close smoothly and with no noise. It has been tested to 100,000 cycles in accordance with EN1527/EN1670.
