Quickslide has partnered with local blinds supplier Morley Glass in a bid to further reduce lead times.

β€œOur new relationship with Morley Glass began back in December to ensure that we were ready to hit the ground running with orders in January,” managing director Ben Weber said.

β€œWhen it comes to integral blinds, our customers are increasingly requesting wider variation in both colour and operating systems. We have taken on two of Morley’s core manual control products: the β€˜C System’, which features a rotational cord; and a cordless magnetic slider system, known as the β€˜SV System’.

β€œEach of these are available in traditional, timeless colours including white, creams and greys, but for homeowners wanting to make more of a statement through their windows, the choice of bright primary colours provide a great alternative.”

With less than ten miles between the two factory sites the move guarantees Quickslide a reduction in its carbon footprint, an aim that Ben intends to fulfil across the company’s entire supply chain.

β€œClimate activism is so very poignant right now, and it is absolutely everyone’s responsibility to confront environmentally threatening issues,” he said. β€œThe proximity of Morley’s premises to us means that we can support the wider cause to be eco-friendly by having vehicles on the road for less time, and making more efficient journeys.”
