Made for Trade’s Korniche roof lantern won ‘Best Roofing System or Product’ at the 2022 Build It Awards.
The Build It Awards recognises the best people, products and services in the self-build industry, from houses to technology and even self-build finance lenders.
Launched at the 2016 FIT Show, the Korniche roof lantern was hailed as a ‘step change’ product, thanks to its sightlines, precision details, aesthetics and value for money as well as for its speed and ease of fitting.
Korniche installation does not require specialist glazing experience; a factor recognised by the Build It award judges. In addition to a comprehensive installation manual and marked components, Korniche features ‘fuss free’ glazing that does not require silicone.
Celebrating excellence in self-building, the awards are promoted by Build It Magazine, the longest-running consumer title in the UK for self-builders and renovators, giving winners high levels of exposure to architects and tradespeople, but also homeowners, new self-builders, and those planning new projects.
In addition to claiming the prize for ‘Best Roofing System or Product’, Made For Trade’s Korniche bi-fold door was also shortlisted for ‘Best Glazed Doors’.
Marketing manager, Ian Bousfield, said: “Recognition of the Korniche brand and products continues to become more and more established in the fabric of the wider building industry.
“Made for Trade continually invests in product development, marketing, and brand awareness to ensure that Korniche offers the very best platform for our partners and customers, to allow them to sell multi award-winning products at the best prices.”
