Hurst has launched a new premium sprayed finish service for its S-Class solid timber core composite doors this May, designed to give homeowners a significantly wider choice of colours when selecting a timber core front door.

The new service allows S-Class doors to be finished in more than 1,600 RAL colours, opening up far greater design flexibility for homeowners who want their door colour to complement the style of their property.

The introduction of sprayed finishes strengthens the appeal of S-Class as a recently launched collection, providing installers with a clear point of difference when discussing design options with homeowners who value choice and individuality.

“Our sprayed finish service is about giving homeowners more freedom when it comes to colour,” said Mark Atkinson, sales director at Hurst.

“Being able to offer such a wide range of RAL colours allows installers of solid core composite doors to meet a much broader set of design preferences, while still delivering a consistent, factory-applied finish.”

All sprayed finishes are applied in a controlled factory environment to ensure consistency and quality, and every sprayed S-Class door is supplied with a five-year warranty on the finish.

The S-Class composite collection features a solid timber core and Hurst’s low-maintenance Thermoplastic CoolSkin outer skin with heat-reflective technology. The range is available in 57 door styles and offers flexibility in sizing to suit a wide variety of projects.

A choice of decorative glazing is also available, including the contemporary sandblasted Harmony Collection and the nature-inspired Bee and Butterfly designs, alongside an extensive range of hardware options.

Made to order at Hurst’s dedicated manufacturing facility in Hull, every S-Class door includes a high-security multi-point locking system as standard and is compatible with Kubu Smart technology.

“This addition builds on the strength of the S-Class range by expanding design choice without complicating the specification process,” added Mark. “It gives installers another practical way to add value for homeowners.”
