Freefoam Building Products has published a new video testimonial to highlight the support it gives installers and consumers.

Homeowner Mr Eddie Bellringer wanted to replace old and tired looking render on his home and turned to Freefoam’s consumer-focused website. Offering information about cladding styles, designs and colours with the opportunity to receive samples and an installation quote from a local company, the site is designed to give homeowners all the tools and support they need in one place.

Mr Bellringer said: “My wife and I have recently retired and we were looking to make our house low maintenance and wanted something that would fit in with the style of the house and the area. Freefoam sent us samples of the X-Wood cladding and arranged for Tru Plastics to quote for supply and fit. We’re delighted with the results.”

X-Wood is a PVCU exterior cladding that looks and handles like wood but without all the usual maintenance issues associated with timber. Freefoam has used its manufacturing experience to design and produce a 16mm cladding board comprised of three different layers: a heavy duty through-coloured plastic foam core, covered with a durable plastic skin and then coated with Renolit film, which creates a hard wearing, stable material with a subtle woodgrain effect finish.
