Growing flush sash market

TruFrame has reported that sales of its flush sash window have reached 25% of all window production, and the growth is expected to continue.

The TruFrame flush sash window uses the six-chambered EnergyPlus outer frame from Liniar and a flush sash profile that’s designed to accommodate a 28mm double glazed unit. It’s also hand finished.

They are available in 14 different finishes, including white PVCU, from as little as five working days from point of order. Windows can also be specified with key-locking monkey tail handles and peg-stays for a traditional appearance or with more modern hardware for a contemporary feel.

TruFrame’s own astragal bar is also part of the product proposition and is milled and hand finished for a more detailed appearance.

TruFrame has developed Refine, a fully mechanically jointed version of the flush sash. Both options are Secured by Design accredited.

David Firmager, managing director of TruFrame, said: “Our flush sash window has been incredibly well adopted throughout 2017, as installers look to a new sales opportunity and a shift in emphasis to a flush appearance and equal sightlines.”
