Diamon-Fusion International (DFI), a global leader in protective glass coatings and restoration solutions, has entered a supply partnership with Independent Glass (IG) – one of the UK’s largest glass manufacturers – through DFI’s UK distributor, Advanced Processing Machinery, led by Richard Gerrard.
The agreement expands DFI’s footprint across England and Scotland, bringing Diamon-Fusion nano-coating technology to IG’s broad customer base.
Headquartered in Glasgow, Scotland, IG operates four UK facilities totaling 200,000ft2 and five horizontal tempering furnaces. The company manufactures toughened and laminated safety glass for architectural, road transport, rail, and marine applications, offering thicknesses from 3–19 mm and sizes up to 6,000 x 2,800 mm. IG is a leading supplier of bodyside and interior safety glass for buses and coaches, as well as for construction, agricultural, specialist, and non-road vehicles.
