Ultraframe is offering a free upgrade to the contemporary slimline ridge for its Glass Roof system.

The ultra slim aluminum ridge does not feature a radius end and so offers a desirable, slim aesthetic that is ideal for use on modern home extensions, orangeries, and conservatories.

The free upgrade offer means that the price of the aluminium slimline ridge has been brought down to the same price as the original classic ridge and means that customers can now offer a modern glass roof at a price that is, on average, 10% cheaper, according to Ultraframe.

The free upgrade on the slimline ridge is the latest in a series of promotions and price reductions from Ultraframe. These include 5% off all roofs when ordered with hup! walls, 20% off the Orangery by Ultraframe range, 10% off flat skylights, and 10% off glass.

Ultraframe marketing director, Alex Hewitt, said: “The slimline ridge for our Glass Roof creates an extremely modern slimline aesthetic that has similarities with the look of a lantern as it does not feature radius ends.

“The Glass Roof takes on a whole new look when paired with the slimline ridge and this latest price promotion ensures that our customers can offer the styling that homeowners demand while making a substantial saving.”

The Glass Roof system, can also be used on ‘grand design’ style home extensions with large open spans and contemporary bi-fold or sliding doors. The slimline ridge, which is available on 25˚ Georgian roofs, also offers a triple layer stormshield and high performance thermal breaks.

Alex said: “When people think of our Glass Roof they immediately picture an image of a ‘typical’ conservatory. While this is of course one of the uses for the system, it can be used to create far more current home extension designs to tremendous effect.”
