Turner Windows of Somerton has explained why it favours the Leka warm roof.
Managing director Craig Turner said he particularly appreciates the GRP construction of the roofing products.
“It means they’re lightweight,” he said. “There’s no aluminium so there’s no sweating, and there’s no timber so no there’s no movement due to drying out. It’s everything you want.
“As long as you’ve done the training, everything goes together well and quickly – it’s all very fitter-friendly.”
Leka said there are fewer elements to install than on a typical solid conservatory roof. It means on-site installation typically takes two to three days (up to and including 4,000m x 4,000m roof), along with removing the old conservatory roof.
Craig has also been impressed with the customer service offered by Leka.
“It’s a good company to work with,” he said. “And the response and the delivery times are more than acceptable.”
