Expansion into new premises
Hitech Blinds has moved to a new 8,000ft2 facility, which gives HiTech Blinds increased capacity and the space to manufacture its new aluminium rooflight blind system.
Ian Woolley, sales director at HiTech Blinds, said: “We’re currently manufacturing around 500 IGUs with integrated blinds a week following significant growth throughout the last year. The move to our new site allows us to manufacture in excess of 1,000 IGUs with blinds a week, plus our new HiTech TRL90 Rooflight with automatic blind. It gives us the capacity to grow but do so sustainably.”
HiTech Blinds started production of its new aluminium rooflight system at the beginning of this year. The system is suitable for new-build installation or retro-fit and is manufactured in an ultra-slim, high performance and thermally broken aluminium profile.
