Clarity to conference

Vistamatic showed visitors to the recent Healthcare Estates Conference its new Clarity smart glass innovation, attracting interest from architects and specifiers.

“The exhibition was the ideal platform to get direct feedback from healthcare professionals and architects about new product innovations that we are preparing to launch,” Mark Nash, Vistamatic’s managing director, said. “In particular, Vistamatic Clarity received lots of attention from various organisations, including the Royal College of Engineering.”

Clarity units are activated by an on/off switch, instantly changing from opaque to clear, or vice versa. In its frosted state, the privacy glass acts as an electronic blind, providing discretion and security for any glazed window or partition. The ease of operation and instant application makes these a perfect option for healthcare environments, the company said.

“There’s no substitute for being able to let people see our products for themselves and to demonstrate the privacy, dignity and shading solutions available for their specific requirements,” Mark said. “We spoke with lots of architects and specifiers who wanted to discuss upcoming projects and how our range can help them achieve their goals. It was interesting to receive positive feedback from healthcare professionals about the new innovations and to get their input from an R&D perspective – we’ve taken away some key points that will help us to develop even further in the future.”
