CiiLock has been nominated as a finalist at the inaugural Fensterbau Frontale Innovation Awards, which have been introduced to highlight technological innovations that provide impetus for further development within this industry sector.
Each submission is evaluated by an independent expert jury, comprising of specialists from across the fenestration sector.
Following its double-award success at the Australian Glass and Window Association Awards last year, CiiLock entered its “Mother of all Rollers – Naked Series” for the awards.
Out of 39 products submitted by exhibitors worldwide, just 13 have progressed to the final round.
On the opening day of Fensterbau Frontale, the Judges will visit each finalist’s stand to meet the development teams and experience the nominated products first-hand. The process culminates in an awards ceremony later that day, where the winners will be officially announced.
The “Mother of all Rollers-Naked Series” retains the proven performance characteristics of the MOR range, whilst focusing on a sustainable design approach. By removing the traditional metal housing and replacing it with CiiLock’s patented interlocking structure, the innovation significantly reduces thermal bridging and embodied carbon, all whilst maintaining the durability and load performance that the range is known for.
The CiiLock team will be welcoming guests to Hall 4, Stand 453.
Steve Hopwood, UK general manager of CiiLock, commented: “Qualifying as finalists for this Innovation Award is great news! We are very proud of this achievement and look forward to welcoming the judges to our stand to show them the innovation behind the Naked Series”.
