Calculate window efficiency with Caluwin
Swisspacer is offering window manufacturers, insulating glass manufacturers, architects or energy consultants the ability to easily determine the UW value for different window constructions with its free online tool, Caluwin.
Caluwin, which also offers a simulation tool for pressure-equalised insulating glass units, is suitable for wood, plastic or aluminium frames, double or triple glazing, and Georgian bars.
It includes the calculation of UW values, condensation and mould formation as well as energy efficiency assessments of windows and enables energy savings to be documented. In addition, insulating glass unit manufacturers and window manufacturers can use Caluwin to check whether the use of Swisspacer Air can achieve the required pressure equalisation to avoid damage from climate loads.
This can be done individually for specific insulating glass units and for given boundary conditions such as climate zones and differences in height during transport.
