Business Pilot’s managing director, Elton Boocock, will present two seminars at this year’s FIT Show, offering attendees industry insights into the role of data and digital technology in the glazing and home improvement sectors.

In the first session, ‘State of the Nation: Behind the Data’, Elton will join GGF’s head of sales & marketing, Tom Butler, to provide a powerful analysis of trends within the industry, using data from a range of stakeholders – including the Business Pilot Barometer.

The analysis will explore patterns in consumer behaviour, market demand and lead generation, and predict what these indicators could mean for the industry in the months and years ahead.

“We’re in a unique position to see what’s really happening on the ground,” said Elton. “This seminar is about translating that data into something tangible, so installers can make confident decisions backed by evidence – not just instinct.”

His second session, ‘Digital Transformation and AI: Moving Beyond the Hype to Practical Tools’, will look at how AI and digital tools are changing how businesses in the industry operate.

Drawing on developments within the Business Pilot system and feedback from users, Elton will demonstrate how technology can simplify everyday processes – from managing leads to improving communication.

“There’s lots of noise around AI at the minute,” he added. “We want to cut through that and show what’s actually working for installers today – practical, accessible tools that make a difference now, not just abstract ideas for tomorrow.

“The FIT Show provides an unparalleled platform to connect with industry professionals,” Elton concluded. “I’m eager to share insights that can help attendees navigate the rapidly changing market with clarity, and harness the power of digital tools.”

Elton and the Business Pilot team will also be available throughout the event at stand G38 at the FIT Show.
