Alunet Systems has launched a new slimline, aluminium sliding patio door system.

Featuring a slim interlock of just 25mm, the ESS47 Hybrid Sliding Door System has single, double and triple track options and the option of lift & slide. It has been designed for large opening sizes of up to 2.5m x 2.7m per sash and sash weights of up to 250kg.

The system is also said to boast many fitter and fabricator friendly features such as adjustable rollers, quick cleat fabrication with spring clip locator and an easy-to-fabricate interlock.

Other details focus on high performance and security, like the anti-lift and bumper device all-in-one interlock cap that houses an anti-rattle device and spring-loaded draught excluder, a bottom track that houses a drainage channel for water run-off and rubber gaskets for better weathering.

The ESS47 Hybrid sliding door system has been produced for Alunet by Europa, a leading aluminium extrusion company in Greece. Founded in 1974, it is reported to be one of the largest and most recognised aluminium companies in domestic and international markets.

This partnership reflects Alunet’s new direction since its rebrand from Alutech, allowing more scope to source products from the world’s top suppliers, as well as to speed up product development.

The ESS47 Hybrid sliding door system is the first of several planned new products launches for Alunet in 2023, which will also see a super slim flush sash casement window system set to launch in the second quarter.

Alunet will be returning to FIT Show this year for the third time and will be showcasing its new slimline sliding patio door system as well as the new super slim flush sash casement window system and new super slim sash for the BF73 bi-fold system on stand, G35.
