25-year partnership
The Climatec Group and hardware distributor VBH recently celebrated 25 years of partnership.
Climatec started manufacturing PVCU windows at a small factory unit in Southend-on-Sea in 1993. In 2012 the company launched Alu-tec, an exclusive range of aluminium windows and doors.
Climatec now fabricates more 1,400 frames a week for trade customers throughout England, from 11 factory units spanning 50,000ft2. The company chose VBH as its hardware supplier for both its PVCU and aluminium product lines.

Climatec and Alu-tec windows and doors are fabricated using VBH’s suited greenteQ door and window handles, flag hinges and window locks.
Climatec also sources Yale/Millenco locking systems, Maco window locks, Sigma hybrid hinges and BKV door thresholds from VBH.
