Wedding venue revamp
AB Glass has been awarded a contract to carry out structural glazing works at a luxury hotel in the countryside of Swansea.
The Swansea-based company has been appointed by Bradbar Construction to implement the design and installation of Saint Gobain structural glazing at Fairyhill by Oldwalls, located in Gower, as the venue introduces a state-of-the-art glass extension. The project is worth £100,000 to AB Glass, with work anticipated to start during November 2017.
The five-star, Grade 2 listed building will be given a modern twist with the new glass extension, while the charm and character of the Georgian mansion will remain.
Chris Hughes, business development manager at AB Glass, said: “The structural glass development will provide modern luxury to this already admired venue. We look forward to getting started and adding this project to the many others we have undertaken in the Gower area.”
