WarmCore windows now Secured by Design

WarmCore aluminium window systems now meet the rigorous testing standards set by Secured by Design.
This means the full WarmCore range, including sliding folding doors, has now achieved PAS24 accreditation and approved Document Q for new builds, making it ideal for any modern home or commercial project looking for a thermally efficient aluminium solution.

With multi-point locking and internal beading, backed by a 10-year guarantee, WarmCore windows have been designed to be strong and secure while retaining the sleek, architectural look that customers expect from aluminium systems.

Andy Jones, sales and marketing director at Synseal, said: “WarmCore technology is the market leader in thermal efficiency and comes with the style benefits of quick dual colour and distinctive hardware, while still being an easy product to fabricate.

“Our customers no longer have to choose between aluminium aesthetics and overall thermal performance – we’ve given them a product which offers both.

“Now that the WarmCore window and door systems are both recognised with Secured by Design PAS24 standards, our fabricators and installers will be confident that they are working with a first-class product that is proven to withstand the efforts of an opportunist burglar.”

The PAS24 accreditation applies to double and triple glazed, internally beaded casement windows and tilt and turn systems including fixed and multilights.

WarmCore window systems also meet the requirements for BS 6375-1, BS 6375-2 and BS 6375-3 for weather tightness, operation and strength characteristics, and additional performance characteristics.

Thanks to its unique thermal core, WarmCore offers up to 25% more thermal efficiency than previous generation aluminium systems with U-values of just 1.3W/m2K with double glazing and 0.8 W/m2K with triple glazing.
