Training provider’s new website

Glass industry training provider MRG Services has launched its new website at www.mrgservices.org.uk.

Paul Gray, at MRG, said: “It brings the details of our comprehensive industry training programmes in one easy to navigate platform for improved user engagement. This allows companies of all sizes to find out more about the programmes available, which can be tailored to meet the needs of all businesses and help upskill new and existing staff at every level.”

MRG partners with a wide range of companies throughout the industry from multi-nationals, to large plcs, SMEs and individual installers, delivering a broad range of qualifications including Apprenticeship Standards and NVQs.

“There has never been a more critical time for companies of all sizes to look at developing their staff through high quality funded and commercial programmes,” Paul said. “It has been proven time over those businesses that invest and upskill their staff continue to succeed. And as an experienced specialist national training provider, we offer flexible and responsive programmes that meet the needs of the learners, employers and the wider community.”

The new website provides detailed information on the many programmes, which cover not only a suite of glass-related qualifications but also management, business, competency updates, facilities management, sales and the Bullet Proof Manager Programme. These include live-facilitated skill sessions, supported e-learning platforms, and one-to-one mentoring resulting in an ILM L5 Operations/Departmental Manager standard.

MRG’s management and delivery teams have over 20 years’ experience in training and development in the fenestration industry. Furthermore, the business is on the government’s register of apprenticeship training providers which means it is able to access government funding for most learners.

“If you are an SME that doesn’t pay into the Apprenticeship Levy system, then the government will fund 95% of the costs of training,” Paul said. “The difference that funding makes is remarkable. A Level 2 apprenticeship for an existing or new member of staff, could cost you as little as £175.

“The internet is now the first place people go when researching for their business and it was vital to develop a website that clearly delivers the range and benefits of our comprehensive training platforms.”
