Home improvement specialist, TradeMark, is celebrating its 30th anniversary.

The Reading-based business, led by founder and managing director Mark Ashwell and his wife, Sue, was officially formed in April 1993.

TradeMark is said to have built up an enviable reputation, helped by a strong customer service commitment. Mark has also previously featured on BBC’s consumer-rights show, Rogue Traders, to champion additional protection for customers in the UK and call for a clamp down on invasive selling techniques across the sector.

This TV show followed Mark’s vocal campaigning at a local level, where he worked closely to guide and advise regional trading standards services.

In 2013, TradeMark joined the Conservatory Outlet Network, and in the past five years alone, the company has reportedly doubled in size.

“Reaching 30 years of business is a fantastic achievement,” commented Mark Ashwell.

“We’re always here to provide friendly, honest, and impartial advice. It’s one of the main reasons we’ve succeeded: building that trust with our customer base and delivering fantastic installations.”

Conservatory Outlet CEO, Greg Kane, added: “On behalf of Conservatory Outlet, I’d like to wish Mark, Sue and the team at TradeMark my warmest congratulations for achieving 30 years of success.

“TradeMark’s reputation for providing a personable service and an excellent quality of work is second to none, and we’re honoured to have them as part of our network of premium retailers.”
