Combilift has taken a leaf out of the marketing playbook of major retailers by producing a short film in the run up to Christmas.
The company started to produce its own holiday videos during lockdown to help boost staff and customer morale, with the latest featuring a magical elf who is determined to cause chaos in the Combilift factory.
Unlike the annual, high budget advertising from the likes of John Lewis or Sainsbury’s however, Combilift created its film entirely in-house at its forklift manufacturing facility in Ireland at a total cost of under €800.
The cast was chosen from the company’s 750 employees, with the lead role awarded to budding child star, Saoirse.
