AEL has celebrated a special bond with structural sealant leaders Dowsil by reaching its 10-year anniversary in the Dowsil Quality Bond Scheme.

Quality Bond aims to improve and maintain the highest quality standards in structural glazing. It embraces specifiers, applicators and fabricators in a programme of training, quality audits, and warranties that build on Dowsil’s reputation in structural glazing industry.

AEL joined Quality Bond in 2009 and was recently presented with a framed certificate by Dowsil’s Alan Lacey to mark a decade in the scheme.

“The Dowsil Quality Bond scheme demands the very highest standards from fabricators in terms of training, procedures and innovation,” says Alan. “To be a part of that for ten years is a real achievement by AEL and reassures their customers that the company operates the highest possible standards themselves, and are backed by Dowsil’s renowned technical, scientific, training and quality products and know-how.”

Among the services that Dowsil offers as part of its Quality Bond scheme are adhesion, staining and compatibility testing, blue print review, design calculations, project audits, training, and warranties.
