Sussex Glazing celebrates 10 years

Sussex Glazing is celebrating its tenth anniversary by sharing its 10 ‘most beautiful’ installations from across the county.

Alastair Harrison, co-founder of Sussex Glazing, talks about his passion for property and how getting the glazing right is critical. “Technology in glazing has come on in leaps and bounds over the last few years, which means we can get bigger panes of glass, which work brilliantly for delivering both the best views and maximising natural light.

“We won’t compromise on the look. We know that each and every home we work on has to be considered for the age and style of the property. Customers often want to add a contemporary twist on older properties, but it needs be done with an empathy to the original build, otherwise it just jars.”

This attention to design is said to have given Sussex Glazing its reputation as a safe pair of hands for even the most complex refurbishment. Today, the successful business employs 20 people and is run from its premises in Shoreham-by-Sea, quite a change from Alastair’s humble beginnings based in the garage of a family member.

“We’ve had some memorable projects, such as a last-minute Christmas Eve installation and a few of our incredible school projects, and they help to demonstrate the importance we put on teamwork and commitment to delivering exceptional results,” he said.

“Every goal we set out to achieve, we have. Dedication, sleepless nights, and effort have been the driving forces behind our success. We’ve never seen success as something given; we’ve worked for it. It’s been an incredible 10 years for Sussex Glazing. Here’s to the next 10!”
