Purplex Marketing has reported that its latest business growth webinar, led by CEO Andrew Scott, brought together innovative thinking on how glazing businesses can drive growth in a rapidly changing market.
The 60-minute session, held on 22 April, is said to have attracted strong engagement from across the sector and combined proven strategy with forward-looking perspectives on brand, marketing performance and the evolving digital landscape.
Drawing on more than 35 years’ experience across manufacturing, installation and commercial glazing, Andrew Scott outlined the strategic foundations required for sustainable growth, revisiting Purplex’s Purpose, Plan, Execute framework and the importance of long-term clarity and disciplined execution.
The webinar explored four routes to growth: increasing value from existing customers, introducing new products to current audiences, expanding proven offers into new markets and entering new sectors. Case studies from Apple, Porsche and Huel illustrated how these strategies are applied in practice, with particular emphasis on the role of brand in driving demand, loyalty and long-term value.
Advice included a look at the shift from traditional search engine optimisation to AI-driven search and Large Language Model-based discovery, the growing role of social platforms as search engines, the importance of Apple Business in local visibility and the rising impact of personal branding alongside corporate identity in B2B markets. The session also highlighted customer experience as a defining factor in competitive advantage.
Andrew also highlighted an ‘analogue shift’, where trust, reputation and consistency are becoming more influential as digital channels become more saturated and automated.
He said:
“There is no shortage of demand, but there is a clear shift in how businesses need to compete for it. Each session in this series is designed to bring fresh thinking alongside proven strategy, so businesses can adapt to what’s changing while staying focused on what works.”
The Purplex webinar series will continue with further sessions for businesses across the built environment. The next event will be held on Tuesday 19 May 19, at 11am. To register for this free session, click here.
