Phased reopening
Epwin Window Systems has started phased and controlled reopening of its Telford operation, which will commence with a small team of customer service personnel.
During that week, the production plant will fire up with a view to reopening the manufacturing facilities from Monday May 11.
Clare O’Hara, managing director of Epwin Window Systems, said: “The safety and welfare of our employees, customers and suppliers remains paramount and we have conducted extensive risk assessments throughout the business to allow this safe and phased return to work.”
The initial reopening will operate with a limited workforce in place to support the immediate needs of the business. This will be closely monitored on a week-by-week basis and scaled up as and when business levels dictate.
The Epwin Window Systems’ marketing team has produced a series of ‘safe-working posters’ which are available for customers to download and use around their premises.
The posters are available by emailing Gerald Allen, Epwin Window Systems’ marketing manager, at gallen@epwin.co.uk
