Epwin Window Systems’ head of IT and group information security officer, Nathan Standley, will be taking part in the 2023 London Marathon, running 26.2 miles (42km) to raise money for the National Trust.
Nathan says: “Having run a handful of 10km races for fun, the London Marathon is a bucket list item and I’ve been lucky enough to gain a place through the National Trust. The National Trust is involved in nature conservation, the fight against climate change, the promotion of sustainability, preserving our national heritage, and working with local communities to make sure everyone benefits from the places they look after, and that they’re welcoming to everyone.”
Gerald Allen, head of marketing at Epwin, said: “Everyone at Epwin wishes Nathan the very best of luck. I’ve personally been involved in a few endurance events with GM Fundraising and I know just how much work goes into training for something like this. Hats off to him!”
Nathan aims to raise £2,000 and all the money he raises will go to Attingham Park, an estate in Shropshire.
