Former Olympian, Kriss Akabusi MBE, has been announced as the after-dinner speaker for this year’s Glazing Summit.

The former Olympian is said to be one of the most sought-after and inspirational business speakers in the country due to his experiences both on and off the track.

Akabusi won the 400 metre hurdles gold at the 1990 European Championships, was part of the gold medal winning 4×400 relay team at the 1991 World Championships, and amassed three Olympic medals.

After his athletics career finished, his big personality made him perfect for TV, including a fulltime position as co-presenter of the BBC’s Record Breakers.

Kriss is also an accredited personal coach, has given countless keynote speeches and facilitated training workshops in the corporate arena, working with executives and senior managers to help them identify and achieve their business goals.

The Glazing Summit Dinner will be held on Tuesday, October 18 in the Edgbaston banqueting suite.
