Bradford based bifold hardware manufacturer Debar has achieved certification to the internationally recognised ISO 9001:2015 standard.
This independent assessment was conducted by the British Assessment Bureau, and Debar has now earned the right to display the coveted British Assessment Bureau quality shield and ISO 9001:2015 logo to demonstrate its conformance to the standard.
Ken Gray, operations director, said: “We decided to apply for ISO 9001 due to the increasing demand from our customers for our products to meet the internationally recognised standard for quality, legislation and regulations.
“This will enable Debar to widen its horizons in both new and existing markets and will give us the opportunity to compete equally in the market place.
“From an internal perspective it has allowed standardisation to be implemented in the workplace and has provided clarity of work on a consistent basis.”
