GAP has opened a new depot in Morecambe, Lancashire.

It is the latest in a series of new depots around the UK for the company, which is targeting even further expansion in its 30th year in business.

Joint MD, Simon Bird, commented: “This year we aim to develop our network even further than last year, with our attention currently on Morecambe, which historically is an area filled with trade professionals, but not enough accessibility to our range of high-quality PVC-U goods.

“At GAP, we want to not only improve availability just in Morecambe, but further increase our presence around the entire UK. We want to become the recognisable brand for our clients, old and new, up and down the country for all their aluminium and PVC-U building product needs.”

New depot manager, John Corcoran (pictured) will open the doors at the Morecambe depot this month. The facility will become GAP’s latest to feature its new depot concept – the HUB.

A feature of GAP depots since 2021, the HUB is centred around improving GAP’s customer’s experience, offering a more personalised service, combined with a new look trade counter featuring LED screens and an improved layout.
