Software specialist Cyncly has acquired Smart Glazier, a dedicated software provider for the glazing contractor market.

Smart Glazier provides a purpose-built platform for glazing contractors, combining glazing expertise in design and configuration, with business management capabilities such as quoting, ordering, scheduling and invoicing.

The acquisition extends Cyncly’s existing strength in glass manufacturing and dealer solutions into the contractor segment. According to Cyncly, while contractors play a critical role in configuring, ordering, and installing glass products, they remain one of the least digitised parts of the ecosystem, often forced to use manual, disconnected processes.

With Smart Glazier, Cyncly says it can create a seamless workflow from design to installation, resulting in a faster, more reliable experience for the end-consumer.

“Cyncly has built a strong track record serving manufacturers and dealer networks in the glass industry. By bringing Smart Glazier into Cyncly, we’re now reaching the person on the front lines: the contractor,” said Anand Krishnan, CEO of Cyncly. “We are connecting the work done at the job site directly to the factory floor, making sure that what is measured is exactly what gets built. Together, we’ll help the entire glass industry run more accurately and efficiently for the long haul.”

“Our focus at Smart Glazier has always been on building reliable, purpose-built tools for glazing contractors,” said David Brennan, CEO of Smart Glazier. “Becoming part of Cyncly enables us to build on that foundation, giving us the scale to keep improving the platform, deepen integration across the glass ecosystem, and continue supporting customers as their needs evolve.”

“Smart Glazier extends our offering to contractors in a practical and targeted way. Bringing our businesses together will allow us to eliminate the friction points, manual entries, and fabrication errors faced within the industry,” said Don Busiek, general manager of Cyncly’s Windows, Doors & Glass solutions. “For fabricators, this combination means receiving precise, production-ready orders. For glaziers, it means faster quoting and professional installations, better serving homeowners. Ultimately, this will help every business be more responsive and deliver better projects, faster.”
