Countdown begins
Glasstec has started its countdown to its next outing in Düsseldorf from October 20 to 23, 2020.
More than 40,000 visitors are expected to come from 120 countries, to meet more than 1,200 exhibitors from over 50 nations.
Organisers have said that Glasstec reflects the positive global trend in the glass sector, supported by the latest European market figures.
According to preliminary data furnished by the European Glass Alliance: total sales stood at 13.3 billion euros in Europe in 2018 (+3.9% against 2017); imports into the European Union reached 6.4 billion euros (+5.8%); and exports totalled 6.9 billion euros (+2%).
Exhibitors can register for Glasstec – www.glasstec-online.com/2330 – and companies that already participated in 2018 can use already pre-completed and editable forms. The allocation of stand space will start after the registration deadline on December 1, 2019.
