Charlotte Gilbert, marketing assistant at Morley Glass, was presented with a cheque for £10,000 at last week’s FIT Show, after winning the Glass Times Magazine Passport competition.
To be in with a chance of winning the prize, FIT Show 2023 visitors and exhibitors were invited to collect 21 special stamps in the Glass Times Passport from sponsored stands around the show.
Charlotte’s completed Passport was selected in a lucky dip from hundreds of entrants by FIT Show director Nickie West and presented by Glass Times magazine publisher, Andy Westhead.
Charlotte commented: “I’m absolutely over the moon to win the £10,000 prize, I still can’t believe it!
“Thanks so much to Glass Times for organising the competition, the FIT Show, and all of the companies involved. Visiting all the exhibitors featured in the passport was great fun – I met some fantastic people, saw some great products, and to cap it with winning was something else.”
In addition to the £10,000 prize, the Glass Times Passport also raised £5,000 for Made for Trade’s ‘Faster 2 Fit’ charity ride.
MFT’s operations director, Chris Wann, and business development manager, Leigh Greenwood, had ridden 200 miles from the company’s HQ in Billingham to the NEC in Birmingham in support of Cancer Research UK.
They were presented with a cheque for £5,000 on the Made for Trade at the FIT Show by Glass Times’ Andy Westhead.
