Capital effort

With a new venue in London, more than 100 Pigs partied in style on 14 June 2018.

“Pigs is networking at its very best,” organiser Sarah Ball from Balls2 Marketing said.

“Old faces and new checked into The Warwick for another successful evening. The venue was an absolute triumph. We had a separate room downstairs and it filled up quickly after kick-off at 5pm. Kick-off is an appropriate term, because London Pigs was on the same day as the first game in the World Cup. Not that it affected the number of people joining for the evening, we were really impressed with the turnout.”

Leah Christian from UK Construction week was a first timer at Pigs London.

“I loved it. I’ve never experienced anything like it for a corporate event,” Leah said. “It’s so laid back and people were genuinely friendly. I’m definitely coming to more.”

“That’s exactly the reaction we want,” adds Sarah. “We know if people come once, they will want to come back.

“The reason the format works so well is because we keep it low key. There are no badges or banners, just a room full of people from the glazing industry with a drink in their hand chatting to friends.

“We couldn’t do any of this without our amazing sponsors. Every penny of the sponsorship money goes behind the bar, so Pigs can get a free drink or two, and some nibbles. As ever we say thank you to all our lovely sponsors for London Pigs.”
