Bennett Architectural has installed LED lights across its offices and workshop.

The company has moved to a ‘daylight white’ 5700k colour temperature with a colour rendition of 70 to provide the workforce with a clean clear light to work under.

LED lights provide instant 100% lighting, saving the power up time when first turned on.

Installation was completed by Digiland after a successful grant application to Staffordshire Business and Environment Network’s Low Carbon Business Evolution Programme (LCBEP).

Lionel Grant, managing director of Bennett Architectural said: “As a very environmentally conscious business we are delighted to now have eco-friendly LED lights in all of our offices, meeting rooms and our workshop.

“We are extremely committed to lowering our carbon footprint and this is just one of many initiatives we are employing to achieve this.”

Diane Roberts, Staffordshire Business and Environment Network lead, said: “We are delighted to work with Bennett Architectural to provide advice and an ERDF grant to install LED lighting in their premises, reducing their electricity bill by £4,000 and CO2 emissions by 12 tonnes in the first year.”
