Creating a business that people want to be part of is a key focus for AluFold Windows. That was reflected recently at the company’s Blackburn factory, where the team transformed an unused area into a new games room – featuring a dartboard, pool table and gaming area.

The space was promptly put to the test with a visit from local sporting talent and professional darts player Bradley Brooks, who the supply-only aluminium and PVC-U fabricator sponsors as part of an ongoing partnership.

“What stood out to me in this project wasn’t the room itself, it was the response to it,” says Rhodri John, commercial director.

“We had people offering ideas, giving up evenings and weekends to lend a hand, and taking a real interest in how it was coming together. Nobody was asked to do that. They did it because they wanted to, and that says a lot about the team we’ve got here.”

“You can invest in machinery, systems and facilities, but people are even more important,” adds managing director, Neal Addison.

“The games room is a fun, informal space where the team can spend time together away from the factory floor. It is so important to us that AluFold is an environment people choose to be part of, and I can see that sense of pride building across the business every day.”

Operating from a 70,000ft2 manufacturing facility at Whitebirk Industrial Estate and backed by Unique Window Systems, AluFold Windows partners with aluminium and PVC-U installers and contractors across the UK through a structured, supply-only model.
