Aiming high in 2018
Caldwell is preparing itself for a ‘brave new world’ in 2018, it has announced.
During 2017 the firm launched a robotic bifolding door testing rig (nicknamed Balotelli for its unpredictability during development), the launch of new products, and reported continued growth.
“Despite the uncertainties surrounding Brexit and the weakening of the pound, Caldwell has had an incredibly positive year, seeing us bring new customers on board and our existing customer base grow,” UK managing director David Walker said.
Caldwell plans to keep up this momentum going into 2018 and beyond, as the company prepares its customers for a ‘brave new world’ that embraces advances in technology and AI.
In 2018, Caldwell will also team up with GM Fundraising as the company makes this organisation its charity of choice.
Next year Caldwell’s New York HQ will also set out a new set of global values.
“These values will be shared and employed in all areas of the business and across the British and American branches of Caldwell,” company president and CEO Eric Mertz said. “It’s important to retain consistent principles and standards even as we grow.”
The firm’s continuing expansion will mean an increase in jobs – Caldwell’s Coventry base is planning to strengthen its links with local universities in a bid to maintain the high quality of products and services.
