Nationwide Windows & Doors has marked a decade of commitment to industry training and development, celebrating 10 years as a GQA Qualifications-approved centre.

The milestone coincides with a recent successful external verifier visit and audit, reinforcing the company’s dedication to maintaining the highest standards in workforce development and competency.

Since becoming a GQA centre in November 2015, Nationwide has expanded its training offering to include qualifications across a broad spectrum of roles – from manufacturing, surveying and installation to the delivery of CSCS cards and, more recently, supervisory and management qualifications.

The team is now accredited to deliver qualifications from Level 1 to Level 6, reflecting the organisation’s investment in upskilling and developing talent across all areas of its operations.

β€œThis 10-year anniversary not only marks a proud moment for the business but also demonstrates the value we place on training and professional development,” said Chris Costall, compliance director at Nationwide.”

Over the past decade, Nationwide has also been recognised with a GQA Centre Award, acknowledging the strength and impact of its internal training programme. With a strong foundation in place, the company continues to support new and existing employees in gaining the skills and qualifications they need to succeed in the fenestration and construction sectors.

β€œNationwide has been a long-established approved GQA Centre,” said Simon Smith, EQA at GQA Qualifications. β€œThey have remained focused on industry requirements and have consistently adapted to changes within the sector. The integrity of their assessments is of an extremely high standard.”

Dan Brown, GQA strategic relationship manager, added: β€œGQA Qualifications congratulates Nationwide Windows on achieving the milestone of 10 years as a GQA Approved Centre. We highly value our partnership and commend their ongoing dedication to improving standards, quality, and competency – particularly in response to increasing legislative demands for higher levels of competence.”
