Tried, tested, trusted, and free at FIT!

Ab Initio director, Rhonda Ridge, explains why longevity matters when it comes to building trust among customers, and how years of experience can continually improve a product to be precisely what the market needs.

According to the Bureau of Labour Statistics, approximately 20% of small businesses fail within their first year and a further 50% of businesses close their doors after five years.

Only 30% make it to their tenth anniversary. Longevity in business is important. The longer you have been in business the more experience you have, the more hurdles you have overcome, and the more customers there are to provide you with glowing testimonials.

Collectively, this creates a comprehensive picture for prospects about the kind of company you are and the expertise you have. The bottom line is that people trust businesses that have been operating for a long time.

Experience and expertise

We have seen this growing following for the AdminBase installer management software. As the original CRM system of its kind, launched over 20 years ago, installers can quickly see that we have a tried, tested, and trusted offering. This experience and expertise matter.

Any company investing in a new product or service, needs reassurance that it is going to work for their business, without any downfalls. We can demonstrate just how easy it is to use in all size of installation or supply only business – with existing users including small firms with one team, large companies with multiple fitting teams, and everything in between.

Installers continue to choose AdminBase because we have created an all-encompassing solution, but our customers also quickly learn that we are always open to their feedback. We are committed to continuous improvement, as any long-term business should be, because we understand that nothing stands still.

Our own in-house team of developers are always looking for ways to make AdminBase even better as the market changes, but direct feedback from our installer customers about what homeowners want, is also important.

Award winning solution

The award winning AdminBase Customer Portal allows consumers to effectively help themselves to information about their installation. Just as they would keep track of an online order, homeowners can log in to see when different milestones have been completed. They can also use this service to confirm survey and installation appointments, and when the project is completed, they can even raise a service call for any snagging issues that may arise.

This isn’t the only feature of the system winning the hearts and minds of installers though. Users also love the fully customisable home screen that makes it so easy for them to see immediately how the business is performing. They can choose the layout and chart style they find easiest to use, and then all data input into the system can automatically be pulled into this quick view on the home screen.

The system also has a barcode scanning feature, making it much faster to book items into the store as they come off the delivery lorry, as well as scan them back out of the storeroom to mark them as despatched.

Installer incentives at FIT

We’re looking forward to showing installers at the FIT Show all the features of AdminBase that we have designed, developed, and tweaked over the years. We will also be launching the latest new DocuSign feature, making it even easier to collect signatures within the system.

We’ll be offering visitors live demos, either by appointment or for ad hoc visitors, or installers can simply relax with that all important cup of real coffee while viewing videos of all the system’s features and benefits. We’ll have some freebie items for people to take away with them but we’re also offering new subscribers to AdminBase, one month free.

We look forward to welcoming installers onto stand D31 at the show to demonstrate how our expertise and experience has created an installer management system the industry can truly trust.
