The future of flat roof orangeries
SupaLite has announced a new and improved ILite Roof; an advanced solution tailored to trade professionals.
According to SupaLite, the ILite roof system has been engineered specifically for professional installers and fabricators, offering ‘unmatched strength, thermal efficiency, and installation convenience’.
SupaLite adds that the ‘ground-breaking’ design is not only a testament to its commitment to quality and performance, it’s a game-changer in the market of flat roof solutions.
More choice
With SupaLite’s ILite roof, installers can offer a choice of roof specifications to homeowners.
The 0.15 U-value specification includes an upgrade to 150mm PIR insulation, 12.5mm boards (which are not supplied as part of the kit) and an increase in the upstand of 30mm to accommodate the additional insulation. This specification meets current building regulations, and a pre-approval with JHAI is in place.
The 0.12 U-value specification also includes the 150mm PIR upgrade and 62.5mm insulated boards (included as part of the kit.) This option requires a soffit overhang fitted with a vented soffit (which is not included due to varying size by customer request.)
What truly sets the ILite apart however, is its outstanding thermal performance, ensuring a comfortable indoor environment all year-round.
Alan Watters, technical director at SupaLite, commented: ‘’We recognise the needs of the trade market and the importance of delivering products that exceed expectations in performance and profitability.
“Our latest advancement, the ILite roof, is engineered specifically for trade professionals. It can be quickly assembled on-site within hours, setting a new standard in the flat roof orangery market.’’
Rapid installation
The ILite system is engineered for strength, thermal efficiency, and speed of installation. Unlike traditional flat roof orangeries that require extensive construction time, SupaLite says that the ILite can be assembled in a matter of hours, drastically reducing labour time and costs.
This is achieved by using innovative timber I-Beam joists, which provide exceptional rigidity and eliminate the need for additional support over spans of up to 5m.
Elegant and sustainable
Not only is the ILite system functionally superior, it also excels in its aesthetic appeal. Its sleek design integrates seamlessly into any architectural style, enhancing the visual coherence of a property.
By maximising insulation and reducing the need for artificial heating and cooling, the ILite system contributes to a lower carbon footprint, making it a sustainable choice for environmentally conscious homeowners.
Versatile solution
The versatility of the ILite system means that it can be specified for retrofit projects and new constructions. Whether upgrading an existing space or embarking on a new build, SupaLite says that homeowners can benefit from the quick installation and superior performance of the ILite roof.
Embracing the future
With the specification options now available in the ILite roof, SupaLite is said to be ‘leading the way’ in roofing innovation, providing solutions that meet the dynamic needs of modern homeowners.
It adds that the ILite system represents not just an advancement in roofing technology, but also its ongoing dedication to ‘delivering excellence and satisfaction’ to their customers.
According to SupaLite, it is committed to supporting trade partners with comprehensive technical support, installation training, marketing materials, and dedicated account management. Its team provides all the resources needed to effectively market and install the ILite Roof.
