Regency Glass, in collaboration with one of the world’s leading innovators in glass, ceramics, and materials science, will launch its next-generation triple-glazed unit, Regency Triple featuring Corning Enlighten Glass in early 2026.

Redefining triple glazing

Regency Triple brings an innovation never before seen in the UK: a 0.5mm piece of Corning Enlighten Glass at the heart of the ultra-thin glass triple-glazed unit. This collaboration delivers a breakthrough in insulated-glass technology, offering the performance of a conventional triple-glazed unit, but with less weight and bulk, and more design freedom.

Why it matters

  • Ultra-thin profile: Triple-glazing performance in a 28mm cavity, which is ideal for the replacement window market.
  • Lighter handling: 30% lighter than standard triples, and only 5% heavier than a double-glazed unit.
  • Thermal performance: Enhanced insulation that reduces energy costs without the need for bulky frame adjustments.
  • Flexible design: Custom cavity widths available using a Thermo Plastic Spacer (TPS).
  • No compromise durability: Corning Enlighten Glass delivers thermal strength without the need for tempering.

A signal of what’s next

β€œWe’re inviting the industry to get ready for what’s coming,” saidΒ Steve Massey, chief sales officer at Regency Glass. β€œQ4 marks the start of the countdown not just to a product launch, but to a shift in what homeowners and installers can expect from glazing.”

Corning’s long history of material science innovation, from creating the glass casement for Thomas Edison’s first lightbulb to inventing the Corning Gorilla Glass used in billions of smartphones worldwide, has advanced many aspects of modern life.

The company’s pioneering work in ultra-thin borosilicate glass now underpins the core of the Regency Triple range.

β€œThis technology is not only an exciting development for the UK; it’s helping to bridge a larger need for advanced window technology globally,” saidΒ Thomas Bertin-Mourot, director, innovation growth, advanced windows, Corning. β€œWe’re looking forward to our continued collaboration with Regency to deliver this innovative product to residents and business owners around the world.”

What’s next

Regency Triple will be integrated into Regency’s onlineΒ Glass for Your HomeΒ survey later this year, helping homeowners and installers choose the right unit with confidence and support. With early 2026 approaching fast, anticipation is building.
