A new addition to Glazerite’s heritage portfolio is set to create extra opportunities for its installers. Group sales & commercial director, Jeff Dunn, shares more on the leading trade fabricator’s latest product offering, Omnia from Veka.

Giving our installers access to a range of heritage products means they can more than meet the growing demand for classic styles. This includes flush sash windows, which combine a timeless aesthetic with next-generation performance – benefits that feature at the top of consumers’ shopping lists.

According to Veka statistics, one-fifth of all PVC-U windows installed in the UK are flush sash. It’s easy to see why. Flush sash windows offer a sleek appearance and clean lines that work seamlessly in modern homes and period properties for the ultimate in kerb appeal.

It’s a trend that shows no signs of abating, and it’s one we can help our installers meet with the welcome addition of Omnia, a next-generation system from Veka. Offering a true flush appearance inside and out across a range of double flush casement and tilt & turn windows – plus French and residential doors – Omnia is available in a range of colours and textures and is set to be a sure-fire hit with homeowners.

Having worked with Veka for over two decades, we have developed our offering to be one of the most extensive, covering its full product range.

This includes casement windows, tilt & turn windows, patios and French doors using the Veka and Halo profiles as well as fully reversible windows and the Imagine vertical slider. Omnia brings an exciting new addition, which is as practical as it is aesthetic, meeting the highest energy, weather and acoustic performance standards as a double rebate system.

When it comes to style, Omnia is an authentic alternative to the original timber flush sash, which has been part of British heritage for centuries. Unlike timber, PVC-U offers long-lasting durability and minimal maintenance; ideal for homeowners who don’t have the time to regularly sand down and paint timber frames.

As a longstanding Veka fabricator, we worked alongside them in the development of

Omnia to bring this innovative system to market. This close collaboration helps us to ensure that the products we offer our installers meet their needs and give them an edge in their markets.

So, what makes Omnia stand out? Developed to comply with 2025 building regulations and beyond, this feat of engineering contains smart design features that optimise efficiency, giving benefits in fabrication and installation, and helping us all to win over end customers.

The suite offers everything from enhanced security and U Values as low as 0.79 to a range of beading options for complete design flexibility. At a 70mm frame depth, it is a quick and simple retrofit solution while its double rebates provide superior weather resistance and durability.

By working with forward-thinking suppliers like Veka, we can continue to help our installers meet end customer demand for innovative products and tap into the growth heritage market.
