Customade Group appoints new CEO

Customade Group has announced the appointment of Will Gold as its new chief executive officer.

Will was previously managing director at Customade subsidiary, Stevenswood, where he spent five years. Under Will’s stewardship, Stevenswood reportedly showed steady growth and now operates a total of 29 trade counters across the country.

Will said: “It’s a privilege to get the chance to lead the wonderful team of people we have in the Customade Group. We want to be recognised as being the best at what we do.

“Our laser sharp focus on improving service levels to our customers has ensured that the group has come a long way in our quest to become the leading service provider in the industry. We are rightly proud of the progress we have made so far but through further innovation and improvements we will continue to strive to improve performance for the benefit of our customers, colleagues and stakeholders”

Will takes over in line with the company’s planned succession from Nick Roberts who led the business in recent months as interim CEO. Nick will continue to support the group in his role as chief financial officer.

Founded in 1980, Customade employs 900 people across the UK. Group companies include Fineline, Atlas, Real Aluminium, Stevenswood, Polyframe and Virtuoso Doors.
