Industry celebrates in style at G Awards
Over 700 people attended the G Awards on Friday last week, which returned to the Hilton on Park Lane.
It was another superb evening, demonstrating once again why the G-Awards are regarded as the industry’s premier awards event – not just for the glitz and glamour of the venue, but for the calibre of the finalists and also that the entries are judged by an independent panel.
That means that, even if you were a finalist and didn’t come home with a G23 trophy, you can take some solace from the fact that you were recognised amongst the most outstanding companies, innovative products and services and talented individuals.

We have a number of stories this week that reveal more about some of the G23 winners, but also news from DoorCo, which has been very busy recently unveiling a raft of new products for its ‘Innovation Week’.
Hosted on its social media channels, DoorCo presented 11 new products, including the Eaton slab, which can be prepped for six door designs and features a new woodgrain finish and new range of glass designs.
A new, updated version of the Gripcore core was also launched, along with a new door designer, new options for the Original and Flip designs, a new stable door range, the Firecore fire door solution…and more besides.
All in all, the Innovation Week highlights an energetic and exciting way to end the year for DoorCo and is good news for all of its customers, who will be able to take advantage of all the new developments as we head into 2024.
