Celebrating FIT Show success

Thousands of visitors attended the 2025 FIT Show last week, an event that once again highlighted the wealth of innovation and talent across all sectors of the industry.

How did the 2025 show compare to previous outings? At the time of writing, official visitor numbers had not yet been released by show organisers, although it was clear to see that day two was undoubtedly the busiest – thanks in part to the extended hours and on stand entertainment of Late Night Wednesday – but the exhibitors that I spoke to reported a decent amount of footfall on the Tuesday and Thursday as well.

It’s also worth noting that high visitor numbers are not necessarily the best metric to measure the show’s success. Again, feedback from the majority of stands that I visited would suggest those that did make the effort to get to the NEC were doing so because they wanted to discover new products, services, suppliers or were there to network or take advantage of the seminars and product demonstrations.

As a result, the quality of leads and enquiries was said to be very high.

I did hear one or two grumbling that ‘there was nothing new to see’ – respectfully, I would have to disagree. A quick march around the halls may have given the impression that it consisted of ‘the same old’ window, door and extended living solutions. But for those that had the inclination and time to explore the stands properly, it was a different story altogether…

We will of course have a full review in the June issue of Glass Times, but in the meantime – and on behalf of everyone at Glass Times magazine – congratulations to all the companies and organisations that invested so much time and effort to make the 2025 FIT Show such a success.

Lastly, an even bigger congratulations to Sarah Potrykus, regional manager for the GGF, who was the lucky winner of the Glass Times Magazine Passport £10,000 cash prize.

FIT Show director, Nickie West, and Glass Times publisher, Andy Westhead, presented Sarah with her prize on day three of the show on the Glass Times stand.
