Shelforce has won Business of the Year at the Great British Business and Community Awards 2023 – an accolade that follows its recent King’s Award for Enterprise in Promoting Opportunity (through social mobility).

Judges are said to have been impressed by Shelforce’s business growth, inclusive approach to employment and training, and strong company culture.

Shelforce also demonstrated its capacity to grow, plans for future development and its ability to adapt, diversify, and contribute to the community.

Shelforce received the award on the same day it was recognised with The King’s Award for Enterprise. Business manager, Howard Trotter, said: “To receive the Business of the Year award in the evening after the announcement that we had been awarded The King’s Award for Enterprise was a momentous day for Shelforce and the team.
